Deciding to buy or start your own business is a huge step and no doubt a major achievement but how important is what you decide to call it?

According to finance expert Ross Greenwood, the most natural thing when starting a business is to name it after yourself. Is that true? Mr Greenwood believes naming your business after a key person means ­customers know who they are dealing however if your business is successful enough to be sold - the downside is that relying on the reputation of one person makes your business difficult to sell in the future unless that key person remains.
