David’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Degree from Edith Cowan University (1981). He is a Chartered Accountant (1982) and a Certified Practicing Accountant (1980). He worked for Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) as well as a smaller accounting practice in West Perth. During this time, he advised on many client’s affairs including accounting, taxation, management accounting, statutory accounting, auditing and business acquisitions and sales. He has also had extensive business experience in commerce, with his roles including Company Secretary for an ASX listed company, Financial Controller for a large private company group, Managing Director of a large private company, and Partner in a national business coaching firm. David became a Partner of the business broking firm Zircom in 2006. He also has a Diploma of Property (Real Estate) and has been the Licensee of Zircom since 2008. David is an Associate member of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers and also the Business Brokers Association of WA. He holds the accreditation of Registered Business Valuer and Certified Practicing Business Broker with the AIBB.
