Bernard joins LINK with over 35 years of professional and senior management experience having been a CEO, MD, FD and Consultant in and to large multi-national organisations in South Africa, UK, USA and Australia. Bernard has enjoyed a dual career in Energy and Banking with major organisations such as Shell Oil, Investec Bank, CBA and Energy Australia.
Drawing from his tenure as a former business owner and executive, Bernard has a wealth of experience in mergers, acquisitions and divestments. Bernard has been a partner in a company providing business acumen training to a wide range of industries and academic institutions including Harvard Business School.
Bernard is equally comfortable in a board room as he is advising a prospective purchaser or vendor. Having recently acquired and exited from several SME businesses he knows what it takes to close a deal. Bernard believes the best deals are win-win for all the parties involved. He underscores his approach with unimpeachable professional standards.
Bernard has a degree in Accounting with Honours and a Higher Diploma in International Tax Law. He was also a Director of the Australian Renewable Energy Board.
