I am a Sole Trader/Owner. The business enjoys significant repeat business and referrals from past clients. We comply with all regulatory requirements. There is potential to grow, mainly by more effective marketing and by increasing capacity e.g. taking on additional trainer(s).

Demand for training is consistant as the building and construction industries (and tradies) constantly require training services. All necessary equipment and resources are available, you could literally buy today and trade tomorrow.
Purchaser would ideally hold suitable qualifications/skills which include Trainer/Assessor qualifications, experience in training delivery, some experience in running a small business.
Our most popular current courses include High Risk Work licence courses for over 11m Boom EWPs and for Forklifts, the ‘Yellow Card’ for EWP operators, the ‘Gold Card’ for telescopic handler operators, Working Safely at Heights, Enter and Work in Confined Spaces, Work as a Safety Observer, Conduct manual handling and others.
We have premises for training at Hexham and at Mayfield West. These are set up for delivery of courses and are currently operating. They have all the necessary furniture, amenities, training resources (e.g. large screen TVs, laptops, whiteboards, safety harnesses etc) and access to all required plant (e.g. EWPs, Forklift, racking, telehandler etc) that is required.

New owner will have the option of either or both premises, plus the option of purchasing or not purchasing our resources and equipment (e.g. our forklift, our office furniture etc).

Mayfield West premises are leased and are approx. total of 244m2 of airconditioned office space and high roof warehouse. Lease is up for renewal in June 2026 with 2-year option, so it is timely for new owners to
consider if they have interest in renewing or not. This location hes potential for other train ing courses such as first aid which we do not currrently deliver.

At Hexham, (dedicated office and yeard space on premises of Access Hire), we occupy our space under a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) arrangement that has been in place for 12 years and is pre-approved to continue with new owner. Figures for rent, outgoings etc are all available and transparent as is past profits and taxable income prepared by an ac counting firm.

Although we are small we have a pertnering arrangement with a large RTO (Registered Training Organisation). The arrangement works very well and seamlessly. We simply pay a fee per trainee for any courses that must be delivered by an RTO.

We have supplied significant, repeat training to major, local projects such as the John Hunter Hospital redevelopment, the M1 Pacific Motorway extension, the Belmont Desalination Plant project and the new terminal construction at Williamtown Airport to name a few.

The business is absolutely debt free, and all expenses are transparent and static over time so expected income varies little from year to year. Currently operating at near capacity simply because as a Sole Trader I am working the hours I wish to work while achieving desired income.

I am 75 years of age, very active and enjoying the work. However, I have a desire to withdraw from full time work and pursue other family and travel interests. If the new owner wished to ‘transition’ into full ownership over a month or two, I would certainly be able to assist. Again, much easier to clarify in a 'no obligation' discussion.

The advertised price of $22k is directly related to the value of existing plant, materials, furniture and training resources at Hexham. New owner could simply walk in and begin training.

At Mayfield West a similar amount ($20K) represents the plant (excellent battery powered Forklift, racking and palletised loads, office furniture etc) located there. New owner would need to take over the existing lease.
